Method 1: Use AP Connection for ieGeek security cameras with no WiFi

It supports real-time viewing, audible alarm, and auto-tracking without WiFi or network. Here are step-by-step guide:

 

Step 1: Select the AP hotspot

Power on your ieGeek security camera, go to the settings of your phone, and select the AP hotspot which is IPCAM-X, input the default password: 01234567.

Step 2: Set up device AP

Launch the CamHipro app, click “Add device” button, press “YES, I WANT TO ADD THIS DEVICE”, press “ADD TO”, subsequently, you will enter the “Wireless configuration” page, press the gray text “Not configured yet, add directly”. When the tips pop up, press “Confirm skip”. Input the camera name, click “confirm”. After changing the default password, the reminder will say” The Wi-Fi network “IPCAM-X” is not connected to the Internet. Allow Wi-Fi Assistant to switch you to a better Wi-Fi network”, make sure to press the right button” Decline”. Now you’ve set up access point connection successfully.

 

Method 2: Connect NVR to ieGeek cameras if no WiFi
