ieGeek Solar Security Camera S1

I was really amazed at this outdoor wireless camera. it is a neat, attractive, self-contained unit that does not have unsightly wires hanging around it and does not require a separate solar panel to be mounted near it.The unit was well packed in the box and easy to assemble. I needed to have this mounted on a utility pole about 30 feet from the house so it could point back towards the house, and it worked perfectly. The provided mounting template was very handy. I just stuck it to the pole where I wanted to mount the camera and that allowed me to pre-drill the mounting screw holes. I could then easily attach the mounting bracket to the pole.I already had the software installed from another camera from the same brand, so I did not have to do that. However, the original installation was easy. Configuring this camera in the software was quick and simple with guided instructions and I had it up and going in the matter of minutes.I was impressed with the quality of the image. The daytime images are sharp and clear. At night, the least little bit of light will provide a very usable image. I would recommend this unit to anyone and as my other cameras eventually go bad, I will most likely be replacing them with more of these. See attached photos of installation.

The camera uses a plastic housing and mounting bracket. It is light and has worked in rain with strong winds. I use the CloudEdge App on my Android phone and connecting this camera is straightforward using QR codes in manual. The manual is not detailed for the many settings so I just go through every setting icon/menu to see what I can adjust. When I don't find a feature I want to adjust I send an email to the support team. I use a 64GB card to record photos and videos vs. using the cloud service. Images and videos transferred from CloudEdge App to email are in JPG and MP4 formats. The internal antenna with 2.4GHz WIFI connection is weaker than for my other cameras with external antennas. It may take 30 seconds to connect. I charged the battery full before use since it's mostly cloudy and after a week of heavy use taking numerous motion alerts, videos, photos and connecting to the WIFI often the battery is at least half full. The motion sensor is sensitive enough to pick up squirrels 20ft. away and people 30 ft. away. The area to detect people movement can be adjusted. If the sensitivity is set too high, rain drops, sleet, spider webs blowing in the wind may be detected at night. I have attached a few images comparing daylight, camera light at night, and camera IR at night. The light is bright enough to see where to walk at night and there is an option for it not to turn on with motion if you want to capture black and white video using only the IR LEDs.

High quality feel was the first thing I thought when I pulled it out of the box. Love all of the features and it's just a nice, classy, but simple-looking camera. Does what I was needing it to do. Very pleased!

Very easy to setup for non-techs. Software is easy to use and adjust settings to your needs. Intuitive functionality and clear picture quality. The fact that the solar panel is flat on top of the camera makes it easy to install and adjust. Sleek design looks good.

This camera has a solid build quality. The installation process was straightforward and hassle-free, no more messy cables. Image quality is good, and the apps is user-friendly. However, it would be a great if the SD card was included. Overall, it鈥檚 a well-made camera.

This camera is fantastic! Easy to set up, no wires thanks to the solar panel built-in. 2K resolution and color night vision are amazing, as you can see from the photos. AI motion sensor is accurate. Only need to buy SD card separately.I am overall satisfied. The camera is recommended for those seeking a high-quality, wireless security solution.

This is my security camera system. No clouds, just SD and it takes 2 minutes to install. Love all thier products.The solar banel is on top it would ve amazing if they have ones rotating with solar panel on top

Recently, I purchased this fantastic cctv . It is solar-powered,sleek design. It doesn't worry about battery life.The Application is great, the camera view is very high quality. Also, it can monitor motion detection. I highly recommend this one . Also, delivery, packaged was great & it has great quality.

This camera has it all. The newly designed and integrated solar panel on top of the camera makes the installation much easier and does a better job keeping the camera charged. The motion sensor takes a bit of tweaking to get it right due to the sensitivity. Installed the camera and got it operational in about 10 minutes. Nice product with great color.

Having the solar panel built in is awesome! No extra wiring to move around and it seems to really hold a constant charge all the time. Nice size so that it is easy to install in tighter places and the image quality is great as well. Still the very easy interface with the app with tons of features and very user-friendly. Set-up was very easy and quick as well. Highly recommend this to anyone that needs a fixed view security camera!

We got this outdoor 2K solar camera to replace an older one with poor night picture quality. Installation with the ieGeek app went smoothly. Pictur quality seems excellent will show comparison to old black and white image from dark bed room! Color looks good with the 2K color video. I am still figuring out the AI technology as it faces the street now. In Florida it seems to be charging well although I did start it with full charge. Seems like a great upgrade for my easy access, no monthly fee system.

This is my fifth camera by ieGeek. I have a couple of different models, but this one is my favorite because of the built-in solar panel! All of the cameras have super easy setup, great picture quality, tons of options, and video. The thing that stands out with this model is the built-in solar panel. It makes it so much easier to place, and you don't have to deal with another piece of equipment. Again, by far my favorite, and I will probably end up buying more. I would totally recommend this camera.

This is a great product, works well, really like it.The motion detection works well and sends timely notifications, which is a huge plus for peace of mind.The APP is GREAT compared to others; very user friendly.Two-Way Audio adjustable audio settings, you can even hear and talk; and a variety of notification options;2K HD Video is crisp and clear, video quality is good at night even its black and white video.I also really like the feature of the solar panel so I don't have to change a battery or connect it to a charger to keep it charged.If you insert a 256GB micro SD card, it can last more than 2-3 weeks footage.

I've been using the ieGeek security camera for a couple of weeks and overall I'm very pleased with it's performance. The image quality is excellent: sharp, clear images making it easy to identify people and objects even with night vision. The installation was easy and quick except for the initial firmware updates. The app offers plenty of options for setting for alerts and monitoring. During the initial setup did have multiple firmware updates as noted above. Please note-there is a difference between creating an account on the ieGeek website and then the app. Do the app first or the website account won't sync properly with the camera

At this point I am very happy with this camera. I have in my back patio and it captures a very wide angle with a very clear picture. The reason I write 鈥渁t this point鈥?is because after I installed the camera the built-in solar panel was not charging the camera as I had expected living in a sunny area of the country.However, I contacted igeek via email they sent a standalone solar panel that actually arrived much earlier than anticipated.After installing and connecting it I am a much stronger charge in the camera. So far it鈥檚 been about a week and the battery has not died yet as it had been doing.I commend igeek for their prompt response and for their excellent customer service.
